Working for Hilti so far has been incredible – I genuinely can’t think of any negatives since I started

I started in the recruitment team for the UK and Ireland and supported the existing team with sourcing the best talent available for the business using innovative channels and social media (such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc). It was always a challenge as finding the perfect fit for Hilti can be difficult – but it was great to be able to meet everyone in person once they started and of course catching up with them again and seeing how they have developed since they started at our annual conference.

During my first role, I spent a lot of time implementing social media for recruitment purposes – I was lucky enough to be invited onto a global project to share what I had learnt with offices all over the world and from that, found myself at an interview at our global HQ in Schaan for a new role specifically working with social media globally for recruitment and branding purposes– it was a passion of mine, I loved doing it and now to be doing it as a job on a day-to-day basis is incredible

I’m lucky enough to be able to travel within my new role and meet international colleagues all eager to learn and deepen their knowledge. It’s great to be able to visit a new country and have a group of “friends” there to welcome you that you’ve worked with on various projects or tasks. I am constantly learning, don’t get me wrong it’s a challenge, the work can be tough but I’m constantly developing and I wouldn’t change it for the world!
